The Turkish Historical Society has determined the undergraduate programs and scholarship quotas to be offered in 2026, and students who choose the relevant programs will be provided with undergraduate scholarship support of up to 9,000 TL.
Applications for undergraduate scholarships to be awarded as of January 2026 will be accepted in October 2025, and the scholarship announcement and application schedule will be announced on the Turkish Historical Society`s website and social media accounts.
YKS Success Ranking Scholarship: This is a type of scholarship awarded to undergraduate students studying in the history and history teaching departments of universities, as well as in the social sciences departments specified by the Board of Directors and listed in the table below. Candidates who are admitted to one of the specified departments as one of their first three choices in 2025 and who rank in the top 30,000 in the YKS may apply for the scholarship. Those ranked between 1st and 1,000th in the YKS success ranking will receive 9,000 TL per month, those ranked between 1,001st and 5,000th will receive 6,750 TL per month, those ranked between 5,001 and 15,000 will receive 4,500 TL per month, and those ranked between 15,001 and 30,000 will receive 3,375 TL per month.
Placement Ranking Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to undergraduate students who have been admitted to the history departments of universities in 2025 and have been placed first (with the highest score) in the department they are studying in based on their YKS score. Scholarship recipients eligible for the placement ranking scholarship will receive a monthly scholarship of 3,375 TL.
